Serco Australia
Provided operational and service delivery management. Serco has had dramatic grown in the last 3 years to a business now worth over 1 billion dollars. Serco’s Asia-Pac businesses cover the sectors of immigration, justice, defence, transport and health care. Data Nett was engaged to stimulate & develop Serco’s IT position within the region particularly focusing on business service management & IT governance.
Macquarie University
Managed the program of work to upgrade the campus network. This $8.5m program consisted of a team of 25 to deliver 528 Nortel switches (4548, 5520 and 5530 series) that enabled 20,246 switch ports across the Macquarie Campus. The migration of approximately 14,000 workstations, printers and servers was coordinated with users gaining access to a faster private network, Wi-Fi and a new VoIP system in a single project pass.
NSW Attorney Generals Department
Provided project management services to the department for the JusticeLink and eServices Projects, a $46m program providing cross-jurisdictional case management systems for the NSW Courts.
ING Australia Superannuation Budget Project
In the May 2006 Federal Budget, the Federal Government announced a number of proposals that will affect current superannuation and taxation laws. The changes, include removing tax on super benefits paid from a taxed fund taken after age 60 and abolishing reasonable benefit limits. This project required ING Australia to amend existing software platforms and develop new software able to comply with new requirements before the July 1 deadline.
Westpac Operational Readiness Project
Working with IBM Australia, this project delivered a Siebel CRM environment for Westpac & established milestones in dual-active data centre hardware.
New Zealand Fire Monitoring project for Tyco
Working in partnership with FBS (Focused Business Solutions) for Tyco and the New Zealand Fire Service, this project required the design and deployment of alarm signalling equipment (ASE) to communicate with the redundant data centres & emergency call centres run by Tyco (ADT New Zealand).
Each data centre was upgraded to allow signals generated by the ASE to be automatically transmitted through the network to the New Zealand Fire Service Communication Centres for rapid response by the NZFS appliances. This project was hugely successful for Tyco after the NZFS appointed Tyco as it's sole agents in New Zealand.
Alcatel Australia's TVR Project
The TVR project changed the way Alactel did business in the Asia Pacific region. The project delivered the systems that allowed relationships with vendors in multiple countries to be fast and effective.
AAPT & Telecom New Zealand Integration Project
This integration project delivered the communications infrastructure required to allow these two companies to communicate cost effectively between Australia and New Zealand. Staff from both organisations needed high speed access from both locations to both locations
